Pull the orange tab and a 0.8 mm silicone mat slides out from under the tray. It lies flat and wipes clean, so you draw up on your own surface, not the hotel's.
Freeze the sheet, not the case. Two millimetres of gel zip into the lid pocket and lie directly over the vials when the case is closed. Design target: vials at or below 15 °C for four hours at 25 °C.
Clip, don't carry. Used tips go into the clipper in the tray; the clipped barrel returns to its slot and travels home as ordinary waste.
Debossed into the level strip inside the lid and filled orange. The name appears nowhere else on the case.
Injectable medication and the syringes for it are generally allowed in carry-on luggage when they travel together, but rules differ by country and airline, so check yours before you fly. The lid pocket is sized for a prescription card so it is at hand at screening.
The gel sheet is 2 mm thick, so it is a buffer, not a cooler. The design target is vial troughs at or below 15 °C for four hours at 25 °C ambient, after eight hours in a freezer. Hand-sample testing will confirm the figure before we publish it.
Ten 1 mL insulin syringes on the rack, three 3 mL vials, two capped pen needles, eight alcohol swabs, a needle clipper, a prescription card and the prep mat. The configurator above shows how the case grows for more syringes or spare needles. This version is not sized for pen injectors.
The tray lifts out. The silicone mat, foam tray and shell lining wipe down with an alcohol swab, and the swabs are already in the case.
The Thin Case is a concept in engineering review. Reserving costs nothing: you get the hand-sample photos first and the option to buy before anyone else.
